Prepare the Patty
Season the Angus beef patty with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Charbroil the Patty
Preheat your grill or charbroiler over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

Flip and Add Cheese
Flip the patty and cook for another 3-4 minutes. In the last minute of cooking, place your choice of cheese on top to melt.

Toast the Bun
While the patty is cooking, toast the burger bun on the grill until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger
Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Add any optional toppings you desire, then place the top half of the bun on.

Serve
Serve the pub burger immediately with your favorite side.
