Prepare the Ingredients
Thinly slice the corned beef if not pre-sliced. Drain the sauerkraut to remove excess liquid.

Toast the Bread
In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add 2 slices of marble rye bread and toast until golden brown on one side. Flip and add 2 slices of Swiss cheese on top to melt. Repeat with the remaining bread and cheese.

Assemble the Rueben
On the toasted side of each slice, layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and more Swiss cheese if desired. Spread 1 tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing on the other side of each slice.

Serve
Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot with extra Thousand Island dressing on the side if desired.
