Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the stale bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- 2
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Pour the wet mixture over the bread pieces and gently fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cherries. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the bread to soak up the liquid.
- 4
Prepare Baking Dish
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter. Pour the bread mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
- 6
Serve
Allow the bread pudding to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, drizzled with caramel sauce.
