Crispy Onions

Horseradish Sauce

Caramelized Onion Ranch

Method

Sliders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Preheat the grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Season the prime beef sirloin with salt and black pepper. Grill or sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches the desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before shaving thinly.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sliders

Slice the slider buns in half. Place a generous amount of shaved beef on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with crispy onions, a dollop of horseradish sauce, and caramelized onion ranch. Cap with the top half of the bun.

Crispy Onions

  1. 3

    Prepare the Onions

Slice the large onion into thin rings. Soak the onion rings in buttermilk for about 30 minutes.

  2. 4

    Fry the Onions

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. In a mixing bowl, toss the soaked onion rings in flour until well coated. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Horseradish Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine horseradish, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth. Adjust seasoning with more horseradish to taste.

Caramelized Onion Ranch

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix ranch dressing with caramelized onions until well combined. Set aside for serving.

Au Jus

  1. 7

    Prepare the Au Jus

In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
