Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it's hot enough for roasting.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Trim the stem ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half from top to bottom.

  3. 3

    Season the Sprouts

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Arrange on a Baking Sheet

Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.

  5. 5

    Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.

  6. 6

    Add Parmesan Cheese

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while they are still hot.

  7. 7

    Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar

Finish by drizzling the balsamic vinegar over the crispy Brussels sprouts for added flavor.

  8. 8

    Serve

Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy while warm.
