Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels. Once cool, chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the bacon is cooking, wash the iceberg lettuce and cut it into quarters. Place each quarter on a serving plate. Halve the sweet grape tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

On top of each wedge of lettuce, sprinkle the chopped bacon, halved tomatoes, sliced red onion, and crumbled bleu cheese evenly.

Dressing the Salad

  1. 4

    Add the Dressings

Drizzle the Italian vinaigrette over the assembled salad, followed by a drizzle of bleu cheese dressing. Adjust the amount to your taste.

  2. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while the bacon is still warm and the vegetables are fresh.
