Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steaks

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary evenly over the steaks. Make sure to coat them well.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Ribeye

Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip the steaks and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust the time according to your preferred doneness.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain and serve with a dollop of butter on top and lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
