Measure the Vermouth
Using a jigger or measuring spoon, measure out 0.5 ounce of dry vermouth.

Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water for a few minutes. Discard the ice water before serving.

Pour the measured dry vermouth into the chilled cocktail glass.
