Cold Brew Preparation

Step 1: Brew the Coffee
In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.

Cover the jar and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.

After steeping, strain the mixture through a coffee filter or a fine mesh sieve into a clean container. Discard the coffee grounds.
Oat Milk Preparation

Step 1: Blend Oats
In a blender, combine rolled oats, 4 cups of water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.

Step 2: Strain Oat Milk
Strain the blended mixture through a nut milk bag or a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
Demerara Sugar Syrup Preparation

Step 1: Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of demerara sugar and 1 cup of water.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely. Allow it to come to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Let the syrup cool before transferring it to a clean bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
Serve

Step 1: Assemble the Drink
In a glass, add ice cubes, pour in 1 part cold brew coffee, and 2 parts oat milk. Adjust the ratio according to your taste preference.

Add demerara sugar syrup to taste. Start with 1 tablespoon and adjust as needed.
