Preparation

Appetizers

1. Prepare the Chorizo

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chorizo slices and minced garlic cloves. Cook until the chorizo is browned and the garlic is fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.

2. Serve with Bread

Toast the crusty bread slices until golden. Serve the chorizo and garlic mixture on top of the toasted bread.

Main Course

3. Prepare the Chicken

In a large paella pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken thighs and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.

4. Add Vegetables and Rice

Stir in chopped bell pepper, paella rice, and paprika. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

5. Combine Broth and Saffron

Pour in the chicken broth and add saffron threads. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes without stirring.

6. Add Seafood and Peas

Gently fold in the seafood mix and green peas. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for another 10 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and the rice is tender.

7. Serve

Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.

Dessert

8. Fry the Churros

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Pipe churro dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

9. Coat in Sugar and Cinnamon

In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Roll the hot churros in the sugar mixture until fully coated.

10. Serve with Chocolate Sauce

Serve churros warm with a side of chocolate sauce for dipping.
