Salad Base

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salad Base

Begin by washing the iceberg lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove the core and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Set aside in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Julienne the Ingredients

Cut the baked ham and Swiss cheese into thin strips (julienne). Dice the tomato into small cubes. If using whole olives, slice them into halves or quarters.

  3. 3

    Combine Salad Ingredients

Add the julienned ham, Swiss cheese, diced tomato, and olives to the bowl with the chopped iceberg lettuce. Toss gently to mix the ingredients.

Dressing

  1. 4

    Prepare the Dressing

In a separate bowl, combine the Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire sauce and garlic dressing. Mix well to combine.

  2. 5

    Dress the Salad

Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss well to coat all the ingredients evenly with the dressing.

  3. 6

    Finish with Romano Cheese

Sprinkle the grated Romano cheese over the top of the salad before serving. Toss gently once more to distribute.
