Base & Fruit
- 1
Prepare fruit
If using fresh dragon fruit, peel and dice until you have 1 cup. For a colder, slushier texture, use 1 cup frozen dragon fruit cubes in addition to the fresh fruit.
- 2
Blend base
In a blender add diced dragon fruit, frozen dragon fruit cubes, 1 cup chilled coconut water, and 1 cup cold-brewed black tea (lightly caffeinated). Blend on high until smooth and uniformly colored, about 30–45 seconds. The mixture should be pourable but slightly thick.
- 3
Incorporate elderberry
Add 2 tablespoons elderberry syrup to the blender and pulse twice to combine. Taste for balance; elderberry will add tart, floral notes and a hint of color—adjust in next step if needed.
Citrus & Sweetening
- 4
Add 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice to brighten flavors. If you prefer sweeter, add 1 teaspoon agave syrup or simple syrup. Blend briefly (5–10 seconds) to fully incorporate. Taste and adjust lime or sweetener to your preference.
Finish & Garnish
- 5
Prepare serving glass(es) by filling with crushed ice (about 1 cup per serving).
- 6
Pour the blended Recharge mixture over the crushed ice, leaving a little headspace for garnish. If the blend is too thick, thin with up to 2 tablespoons additional coconut water per serving until desired consistency is reached.

Optional: For a layered look, pour elderberry syrup (reserved 1/2 teaspoon) slowly down the inside edge of the glass after pouring the beverage to create a subtle color gradient.
