Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Green Beans

Trim the ends of the green beans and wash them under cold water. Set aside.

2

Blanch the Green Beans

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking. Drain again and set aside.

3

Sauté the Almonds

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are golden brown, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

4

Combine Ingredients

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant. Then add the blanched green beans, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

5

Serve

Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish.
