Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and let it cool. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

2

Make the Ravioli Dough

In a large bowl, combine the flour and a pinch of salt. Make a well in the center and add the egg and water. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

3

Roll Out the Dough

After resting, divide the dough into quarters. Roll out one quarter at a time on a floured surface until very thin. Cut into squares or circles, about 3 inches in size.

4

Fill the Ravioli

Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each square or circle. Moisten the edges with water and fold over to seal, pressing out any air. Crimp the edges with a fork to ensure they are sealed properly.

5

Cook the Ravioli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop the ravioli into the water and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the top. Remove with a slotted spoon.

6

Serve

Serve the ravioli hot with marinara sauce on top. Garnish with additional mozzarella or parmesan cheese if desired.
