Method
Prepare base
- 1
Stir yogurt
Spoon 1 cup of cold Greek yogurt into a medium bowl. Stir briefly to make the texture smooth and creamy.
- 2
Sweeten
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of local honey or agave over the yogurt. Gently fold once or twice to distribute the sweetener without fully dissolving — you want some streaks for texture and flavor contrast.
Prepare toppings (choose any three)
- 3
Fruit prep
If using fresh fruit: rinse berries and pat dry. Hull and slice strawberries; slice banana; core and dice apple. Use roughly 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup sliced strawberries, 1/2 medium banana (sliced) or 1/4 cup diced apple as one or two of your three toppings.
- 4
Nuts & seeds prep
If using nuts, lightly chop cashews or walnuts so they’re bite-size (about 2 tablespoons). Measure seeds (chia, hemp, sunflower) in teaspoons or tablespoons as listed. If using roasted pepitas, measure 1 tablespoon. This step ensures even distribution and easier eating.
- 5
Dry toppings
Have granola, cacao nibs, coconut flakes, goji berries, and bee pollen ready in small bowls or measuring spoons so you can assemble quickly and keep textures distinct.
Assemble bowl
- 6
Arrange your chosen three toppings over the sweetened yogurt. Aim for a balance of textures and flavors — for example: 1/4 cup blueberries + 1/4 cup granola + 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts; or 1/2 sliced banana + 1 tablespoon cashews + 1 teaspoon chia seeds.
- 7
Garnish & finish: If desired, add a tiny extra drizzle of honey or agave (about 1/2 teaspoon) over the toppings for shine and added sweetness. Sprinkle bee pollen last (about 1/2 teaspoon) so it remains noticeable and aromatic.
- 8
Serve immediately: Serve the bowl right away to preserve granola crunch and fresh fruit texture. If preparing ahead, keep granola and delicate toppings separate and add just before serving.
