Prepare Pork Belly
- 1
Season the Pork Belly
In a bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mix all over the pork belly.
- 2
Sear the Pork Belly
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork belly and sear it for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 3
Cook the Pork Belly
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the pork belly cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, turning occasionally, until tender.
- 4
Rest and Slice
Once cooked, remove the pork belly from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing it into small pieces.
Assemble Tacos
- 5
Warm Tortillas
Heat the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

- 7
Build the Tacos
On each tortilla, layer a portion of the cooked pork belly, followed by a sprinkle of chopped onion and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
- 8

Serve the tacos immediately with additional lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
