Preparing the Meat

  1. 1

    Smoked Brisket

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Season the brisket with salt and pepper. Smoke for 1.5 hours per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C). Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Pulled Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with a mixture of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Smoke at 225°F (107°C) for 1.5 hours per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 205°F (96°C). Pull apart using forks.

  3. 3

    Sausage

Smoke the sausage for about 1-2 hours at 225°F (107°C) or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Slice before serving.

Making the BBQ Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir well.
