Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it is hot enough to crisp the Brussels sprouts.
- 2
Trim and Halve the Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each sprout in half from top to bottom.
Cooking
- 3
Toss with Olive Oil and Seasonings
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the sprouts are well coated.
- 4
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down for maximum crispiness.
- 5
Roast in the Oven
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the Brussels sprouts for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Add Parmesan and Balsamic Glaze
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and immediately sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and toss gently to combine.
Serving
- 7
Serve Hot
Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a serving platter and enjoy them hot as a delicious side dish.
