Method
Prepare the Cream Mixture
- 1
Make the Cream Base
In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
- 3
Brew the Espresso
Brew 300 ml of espresso coffee and let it cool slightly. Stir in the coffee liqueur until combined.
Assemble the Tiramisu
- 4
Dip the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger biscuit into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 5
Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, place a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
- 6
Repeat the Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone cream mixture.
Chill and Serve
- 7
Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 8
Dust with Cocoa
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder for a finishing touch. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
