Bun and Fries

Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, making them slightly larger than the brioche buns as they will shrink while cooking.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 4

    Grill the Patties

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 5

    Cut and Soak the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into fries (about 1/4 inch thick) and soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the brioche bun, place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. Top with crispy bacon, crispy fried onions, and drizzle tiger sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
