Method

Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Sear the Pork Chops

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C).

  3. 3

    Rest the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes before serving.

Vegetable Medley

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim the ends of the green beans, peel and slice the carrots, and chop the red bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet used for the pork chops, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the green beans, carrots, and red bell pepper. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 7-10 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Potatoes

  1. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

In a large pot, add the Yukon gold potatoes and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender.

  2. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, and salt. Mash until creamy and smooth.
