Method

Pork Chop Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Pork Chops

Rub the pork chops with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides to ensure they are well-seasoned.

  2. 2

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Sear the Pork Chops

Add the seasoned pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are browned and have a nice crust.

Glaze Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.

  2. 5

    Glaze the Pork Chops

After searing the pork chops, reduce the heat to medium and pour the glaze over the chops. Allow them to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving the Dish

  1. 6

    Plate the Pork Chops

Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes on a cutting board.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Chop fresh parsley and sprinkle on top of the pork chops. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh finish.
