Parmesan Crusted Shrimp

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Ensure they are thoroughly dry for the best crust.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour in the first, beat the eggs in the second, and mix the grated Parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in the third.

  3. 3

    Bread the Shrimp

Coat each shrimp first in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the Parmesan and panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. 5

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the breaded shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the cooked shrimp and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Serve warm with lemon garlic aioli and cocktail sauce.
