Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ramekins
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter, then dust with cocoa powder. Place them on a baking tray.
- 2
Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the bittersweet chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
- 3
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt until combined. Gradually stir in the melted chocolate mixture until smooth. Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
- 4
Fill Ramekins
Evenly distribute the cake batter into the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes. The edges should be firm but the center should still be soft.
- 6
Serve
Let the cakes cool for 1 minute. Carefully run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
