Brew a cup of espresso coffee and let it cool down to room temperature.

In a shallow dish, combine the cooled espresso with coffee liqueur, stirring well to mix.

Prepare Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until the mixture becomes pale and fluffy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg mixture until smooth, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Tiramisu
In a 9x9 inch dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat the process by adding another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone cream mixture.
Chill and Serve

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
