Preparing the Fries

Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into long strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

Dry the Potatoes
Drain the potatoes from the water and dry them thoroughly using a clean kitchen towel.

Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the dried potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt.
Cooking the Steak

Prepare the Steak
Take the ribeye steaks out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Season the Steak
Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary on both sides.

Grill the Steak
Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.

Rest the Steak
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Making the Garlic Butter

Prepare the Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves finely.

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

Combine Ingredients
Add the minced garlic and fresh parsley to the melted butter. Season with a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
