Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Cut the Beef

Cut the beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and add it to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the beef is marinating, prepare the pineapple, bell pepper, and red onion by cutting them into similar-sized chunks for even cooking.

  4. 4

    Soak Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.

Grilling

  1. 5

    Assemble Skewers

Thread marinated beef, pineapple, bell pepper, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between ingredients.

  2. 6

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. 7

    Grill the Skewers

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

  4. 8

    Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your MAUI Charred GRILLED Pineapple BEEF SKEWERS!
