Method
Preparation of Lobster Tails
- 1
Prepare the Lobster
Thaw the lobster tails if frozen. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the shell apart to expose the meat.
- 2
Boil the Lobster Tails
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt. Once boiling, add the lobster tails and cover the pot. Boil for about 8-10 minutes or until the meat is opaque and the shells turn bright red.
- 3
Drain and Prepare for Serving
Carefully remove the lobster tails from the pot using tongs and drain them. Place them on a cutting board and let them cool slightly before serving.
Butter Sauce Preparation
- 4
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter.
- 5
Add Garlic and Seasonings
Once the butter is melted, add 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 6
Season to Taste
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir to combine and remove from heat.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Lobster Tails
Place the lobster tails on a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
