Method
Chicken Preparation
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Breading
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika. Dip each seasoned chicken breast first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it evenly with breadcrumbs.
Frying
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. The oil should reach about 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken breasts into the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
Drain Excess Oil
Once fried, remove the chicken breasts and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Buffalo Sauce
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the buffalo sauce and stir until well combined. Heat slightly but do not boil.
Toss the Chicken
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken breasts in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
