Lobster Filling
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster tails and cook for about 8-10 minutes until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from water and allow to cool slightly before removing the meat from the shells. Chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces.
- 2
Make the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook gently for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown the garlic. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Combine Lobster and Garlic Butter
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, garlic butter mixture, and chopped chives. Mix gently until lobster is evenly coated.
- 4
Prepare the Buns
Lightly toast the split-top buns in a skillet or oven until golden brown.
