Preparation Steps

Cook the Macaroni
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the milk, whisking until smooth. Stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and crabmeat. Mix well and let it cool slightly.

Prepare for Frying
Once cooled, form the mixture into small balls or patties. Dip each in beaten egg and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Fry the Mac & Cheese Balls
In a deep skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry the balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Drizzle with sweet heat sauce and serve warm.
