House-made Fries
Prepare the Fries
1. Fry the Potatoes
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the cut potatoes until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.
Cook the Patties
2. Form and Cook the Patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into two equal portions and form into patties. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Burger
3. Build the Burger
On the bottom half of the brioche bun, layer a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked beef patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, mustard to taste, garlic dill pickles, and then the second beef patty with melted cheese. Top with the other half of the brioche bun. Serve with house-made fries.
