Rinse the Peppers
Rinse the shishito peppers under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities. Pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Make sure the oil is hot before adding the peppers.
Cooking

Blister the Peppers
Add the rinsed shishito peppers to the hot skillet in a single layer. Allow them to cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes, until they start to blister. Then, stir or toss them to cook on other sides for another 2-3 minutes.

Season with Sea Salt
Once the peppers are blistered and tender, remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle the blistered peppers with sea salt to taste and toss gently to coat.

Transfer the blistered shishito peppers to a serving platter. Enjoy them hot as an appetizer or snack.
