Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Edamame
Rinse the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.
- 2
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil over high heat. Use enough water to ensure that the edamame can be fully submerged.
- 3
Steam the Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame to the pot. Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes until the pods are bright green and tender.
- 4
Drain and Season
Carefully drain the edamame in a colander. While still hot, sprinkle the sea salt over the edamame. Toss to ensure even distribution of salt.
