Tuna Salad

Method

Prepare Tuna Salad

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the canned tuna, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, red onion, dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  1. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 3

    Prepare Bread

Lay the slices of rye bread on a baking sheet.

  3. 4

    Add Tuna Salad

Spoon an even amount of the prepared tuna salad onto each slice of rye bread.

  4. 5

    Layer Toppings

Top each tuna salad pile with crumbled bacon, slices of tomato, and a generous mixture of shredded swiss, provolone, and cheddar jack cheeses.

  5. 6

    Bake

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.

  6. 7

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve warm.
