Prepare the Meat Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground veal, ground pork, and ground beef.

Add Ingredients
Mix in the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Red Sauce

Sauté the Aromatics
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.

Add Garlic
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Simmer the Sauce
Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the chopped fresh basil just before serving.

In a food processor, combine the ricotta cheese, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest.

Blend until creamy and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
