Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped fresh rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Apply Marinade

Place the 32 oz Prime Porterhouse steak in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust time for desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your desired level, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Garnish

Slice the steak against the grain into thick slices. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for added flavor.
