Ahi Tuna Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Tuna
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Place the Ahi tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the tuna is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Tuna
Remove the tuna from the marinade and shake off excess. Place the tuna steaks on the grill or pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your preferred doneness. During the last minute of cooking, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the tuna.

Garnish
Once cooked, remove the tuna from the heat and let it rest for a minute. Sprinkle sliced green onions on top before serving.
Avocado Salsa Preparation
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced avocado, diced tomato, chopped red onion, lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Gently mix to avoid mashing the avocado.
