Lobster Tail

Method

Preparing the Lobster Tail

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the shell apart slightly to expose the meat.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Brush the lobster meat with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Set aside to marinate while you prepare the garlic butter.

Making Garlic Butter

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Be careful not to let it brown.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic and Seasonings

Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic cloves, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and paprika. Stir until the garlic is fragrant, about 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.

Grilling the Lobster

  1. 5

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).

  2. 6

    Grill the Lobster Tails

Place the lobster tails shell-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, brushing frequently with the garlic butter, until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 7

    Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the grill and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
