Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help to achieve crispy wings.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the mixture.
- 3
Prepare the Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will allow the fat to drip off and help the wings become crispy.
- 4
Arrange the Wings
Place the coated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Make sure they are not touching each other to ensure even cooking.
Baking the Chicken Wings
- 5
Bake the Wings
Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.
Saucing the Wings
- 6
Toss with Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour your choice of sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
- 7
Serve
Transfer the sauced chicken wings to a serving platter and enjoy while hot!
