Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint

In a cocktail shaker, add 10 fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release their oils. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much.

2

Add the Liquid Ingredients

Pour 2 oz of Cathead Germain liqueur and 1 oz of fresh lemon juice into the shaker with the muddled mint.

3

Add Ice

Fill the shaker with 1 cup of crushed ice, covering the liquid ingredients.

4

Shake the Mixture

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.

Serving

5

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with fresh crushed ice. This will create a refreshing, slushy texture.

6

Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish the drink with a sprig of mint on top. Serve immediately and enjoy your Mint Cathead Smash!
