Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before flaking into bite-sized pieces.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle with lime juice and sprinkle with salt. Toss to combine and set aside to allow the flavors to meld.

Chipotle Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, and garlic powder until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembling Tacos

  1. 5

    Warm the Tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas on a hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Tacos

On each warmed tortilla, add a portion of the grilled fish, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle with chipotle sauce. Serve immediately.
