Batter Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

Add Wet Ingredients
Pour in the milk and vanilla extract into the dry mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter sit for about 10 minutes.
Frying Oreos

Heat Oil
In a deep frying pan or a pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can check the temperature with a kitchen thermometer.

Dip Oreos
Take an Oreo cookie and dip it into the batter, ensuring it is completely coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.

Fry Oreos
Gently place the coated Oreo into the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to turn them as needed.

Drain Excess Oil
Once fried, remove the Oreos from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the fried Oreos while they are still warm. Serve hot and enjoy!
