Method
COCKTAILS
- 1
Prepare the Glass
If desired, rim the cocktail glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip it into a plate of salt to coat the edge.
- 2
Muddle the Watermelon
In a shaker, add the cubed fresh watermelon. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the watermelon to release its juices.
- 3
Add Ingredients to Shaker
To the muddled watermelon, add 2 oz of TITOS tequila blanco, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.
- 4
Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake well for about 15 seconds until the mixture is chilled.
- 5
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, you can use a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
- 6
Garnish and Enjoy
Garnish with a slice of watermelon on the rim and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing Sandía Margarita!
