Prepare the Glass
Begin by chilling your glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add Maker's Mark Bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice to the top.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.

Strain the Cocktail
Discard the ice water from your chilled glass. Then, using a strainer, pour the mixed cocktail into the chilled glass.
