Prepare the Glass
Rim the glass with lime juice and dip it in salt to coat the rim. Set the glass aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila reposado, 1 oz of prickly pear puree, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.

Shake the Cocktail
Add ice to the shaker, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.
