Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patties

Season the Angus beef patties with salt and pepper. In the same skillet used for the bacon, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

Slice the soft burger buns in half and toast them in the skillet for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Spread 2 tablespoons of chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Layer with lettuce, the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, tomato slice, pickles, and red onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite side, like fries or a salad.
