Crab Dip Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Dip

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and hot sauce. Mix until well blended and smooth.

  2. 2

    Add the Cheeses and Crab

Fold in the lump crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Romano cheese into the cream cheese mixture. Make sure not to break up the crab meat too much.

  3. 3

    Season the Mixture

Season the dip with salt, black pepper, and additional hot sauce to taste. Mix gently to combine.

  4. 4

    Bake the Dip

Transfer the crab dip mixture to a baking dish. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Crostini

While the dip is baking, slice a baguette into thin slices, brush with olive oil, and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the crab dip from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with the toasted crostini.
