Method

Preparation of Salad Base

1

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.

2

Add Roasted Red Peppers

Drain and chop the roasted red peppers. Add them to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.

3

Mix in Homemade Bruschetta

Add the homemade bruschetta mix to the salad bowl and toss gently to combine.

Cooking Protein

4

Grill the Protein

Season the grilled steak tips or chicken with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat until cooked through (about 6-8 minutes per side for steak or 5-7 minutes per side for chicken). Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Assembling Salad

5

Combine Ingredients

Slice the grilled steak or chicken into strips and place on top of the salad base in the bowl.

6

Add Toppings

Sprinkle fried leeks and bleu cheese crumbles over the top of the salad.

Making Dressing

7

Prepare the Horseradish Dressing

In a small mixing bowl, combine horseradish, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

Serving

8

Serve the Salad

Drizzle the horseradish dressing over the assembled salad just before serving. Toss gently to coat if desired.
