Meatballs Directions
- 1
Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground veal, ground beef tenderloin, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 2
Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Cook the Meatballs
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are browned all over.
- 4
Add Tomato Sauce
Once the meatballs are browned, pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
- 5
Serve with Burrata
Once cooked, carefully transfer the meatballs to a serving dish. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and scatter over the top. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.
